Woke up this morning and my shoulder
blade and toe are feeling a little bit better.
The pain is not as bad as yesterday.
So as long as I see things getting better
and not staying the same or getting
worse then I have no need to call the doctor.

I can't win. If it ain't one thing it's another.
While my left shoulder blade and left toe pain
have been tapering off now my left hip
is hurting. Feels like I got a kink and
I walk with a limp because of it.
But it's all good I guess as I don't want
to feel like I did yesterday.
I actually was on the roof today with
the leaf blower cleaning out the gutters.
And I have been working more on getting
all the Winter clothes out and the Summer
clothes put away. I'm almost done with it
thank goodness because that is a chore.
Didn't get any laundry done today so
will probably work on it throughout the week.
Don't need to throw something else out
at the moment going up and down basement steps.

Spent the last hour in the kitchen whipping
up my next Pop Tart recipe for the contest.
It's taken me about a week to put the
recipe together.
My hip hurt like heck standing in there
but it made me forget all about my other
aches and pains that's for sure.
Bad thing about the hip pain is that
Ibuprofen doesn't work to help the pain.
So I'll just suffer with it and hope it will
go away within a day or two.

My bars in the oven are almost
done. Sitting here watching a live Ghost
Hunters show for Halloween.
It is on for 6 hours!!
I have never been able to stay
awake that long in the past when
they run their Halloween show.
They are in Buffalo, New York.
Been through there many times.
It sucks I didn't know about them
ghost hunting in Columbus back in June or July.
I would have hunted down the Ghost Hunters, lol.
I'd have to say I've been watching this show non stop
for about 5 1/2 years.
Well going to get my bars from the oven then
head to bed to watch my show.

Had to go to Kmart today to find the kids
some shoes.
Those shoes we've been getting them from
Walmart for $12 are lucky to hold up a month!!
We splurged and paid $24.99 for one
pair and got the second pair for $12.50- 50% off.

I have to tell you about this next thing
because it was something different I guess
they started doing because I had never heard
of it before today.
When purchasing the shoes the cashier asked
if I wanted to purchase a warranty on them!
I turned down the warranty but had to ask
about it anyway.
It was $2.99 for each pair of shoes
and was good for a year in the even they fell
apart, tore or whatever.
I guess I was so blown away with her
asking me if I wanted a shoe warranty
(and also the fact I don't feel well)
that I should have bought a warranty on
at least one pair I bought.
Both pairs of shoes I got today for the kids
were identical, including size.

Oh I also splurged and bought
me two 8 packs of plastic hangers
that I found in the mark down area
for .50 cents a pack.

I am still not feeling the greatest!
I might call the doctor Monday to get
an appointment. That says allot about
me because I don't go to doctors too much.
I usually ride the storm out and everything
seems to fix itself. BUT if something is
very painful and bothersome I might
have it checked out.
First of all my toe is still sore, maybe not as
bad, but has some redness that has not gone away.
I have cleansed it daily with hydrogen peroxide.
And then as of yesterday evening I really
started feeling like crap
and have felt it all day today as well.
Last night I started getting a severe pain
under my left shoulder blade. It's in
a generalized area and if one would push on
that area there is the possibility I would scream.
Along with that shoulder blade pain came
neck stiffness. I don't dare turn my head too far.
Instead I have been turning my whole body.
I had Tony drive to the store today
because when I attempted it and tried to look back
to back out or look around it hurt allot.
I ain't even hit 40 yet and I feel as though
I am falling apart!!
I have been taking Advil and are using
an icy hot patch on my shoulder blade.
I got those from Dollar Tree awhile ago.
Wasn't sure how good they would be.
It doesn't really get hot or warm up
but has a slight cool tingling feeling.
Smells like there might be something
along the line of Ben Gay on it.
It seems to take the edge off along with
the Advil.
I'll keep you updated.
I have laundry to do tomorrow and
am not looking forward to it!
May have to call upon the help of others
in this household to help do it.
Well time to go take some more Advil.
I haven't had any since upon waking up this morning.
What I am confused about is when you
should apply heat to a sore area
and when to apply cold.
Because if you do the wrong one
it could actually make the situation worse.

Me and Tony went to Kroger MarketPlace today
at Graceland.
He came home early from work.
He's got like almost two weeks of sick
days accrued.
Anyway here's some deals we got.

6 Sunny D 2 liters- on sale for $1.00 each.
Hang tag coupon on bottle for .25 cents
double to .50 cents
made each one only .50 cents each.

Hotwheels cars were 2 for $1.00
so we picked up 8 of them for
stocking stuffers.
We got all old muscle cars like what you
would see at car shows.

Picked up some pop for mom.
They had 6 pack of 20 ounce? bottles
buy 2 get 3 free.
Would have been $20 for all 6
and only paid $7.98.
So saved $12.00!!

While in Kroger I also managed to find
coupons of a display for $1.00 off 2 Halls Drops

My neck, shoulders and head all of a
sudden feel stiff and achy.

in my left shoulder blade.
Feels like someone stabbed me with a knife.
I had pain in my shoulder socket earlier
this week.
So between this and a throbbing
toe I feel like I'm falling apart.

Pumpkin Pie Hot Chocolate

Ingredient

1/4 tsp vanilla extract .
1 1/2 tbsps cocoa powder .
4 -1/2 c milk
1/4 tsp pumpkin spice .
2 1/2 tbsps sugar .
1/8 tsp almond extract .
2 tsps instant coffee powder

Directions

In a pot, heat up the milk in a 2-quart sauce pan on medium low. When milk is warm,

add the almond & vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice and coffee granules. Stir.

Add the cocoa powder and whisk constantly.

You can add additional cream/ flavored creamer if desired.

Use Splenda instead of sugar.

Top with whipped cream

Yield: 2

Trick Or Treat tonight.

Wanna see it. It looks gross!

It's getting to be that time of year
when baking products will start going on sale
for upcoming holidays.
Now is the time to take advantage of those
sales and any coupons for baking items.

I also like to stock up on other baking supplies
that might be marked down

Well y'all I'm gonna go take me a nappy.
I didn't get one yesterday because I thought
we were going to have some bad weather
roll through and I wanted to be up and prepared
for whatever happened.
I was also awake at 2:40AM this morning
because I kept hearing a helicopter.
I got up and saw it a block down our street
with it's spot light around mom's house.
I went outside to see what was going on
and saw a police car whiz down the street
but with no red and blue lights on.
I asked around this morning when at
the bus stop about it and no one knows
what went on at that hour of the morning.
Mom said it sounded like the helicopter was
in her bedroom! I told her it was flying right
above her house.

I ended up going over budget this
week by $6.27.
I like to stay within $45 for groceries each week.
BUT I had a couple extra expenses
like getting stuff for Tony's potluck
tomorrow and I picked up some more
toilet paper since I could get it for cheap.
I didn't really need any at the moment
but figured it's something we will use
and better get it now while cheap
rather paying more for it later.

Winds are starting to pick up.
Tony just called from work to say
a lil tree in front of an apartment we used
to live in blew over.
When we lived there we had a severe storm that
brought down a large branch off that tree
and onto our cars. The groundsmen came over
with chain saws and was gonna cut the whole
tree down. I saved the tree back then by stopping
them from doing so. But it looks like it finally bit
the dust today :0(
