10:30AM
Having a big breakfast this morning.
bacon, eggs, sausage gravy & biscuits, pancakes
& leftover tenderloin hash.
bacon $1.99
4 eggs .16 cents (still have my .50 cent dozen eggs)
sausage gravy & biscuits free (leftovers from freezer)
leftover tenderloin free
1/2 bag Kroger hash browns $1.00
cheese .20 cents
syrup .05 cents
pancakes free (leftovers from freezer)
TOTAL COST: $3.40
makes 5 servings/plates @ .68 cents a serving/plate
Those tiny portions of leftovers in your
freezer can add up when combined with other
things to make a big breakfast like this.
You don't need full sized servings. Just
use them as side dishes.

After about 3 days of scraping silicone off
the molding (ran out of patience a few times and
that's the reason for taking so long) I finally got
it done last night.
Now sitting back patiently waiting for my paint
to arrive to do the dining room wall.
And patiently waiting for a shelf cupboard
for the kitchen and some paneling for the bath.
Checking craigslist, yard sales, thrift stores
and habitat when I can.

Tonight's supper
just in the oven at 5:30pm.
Tilapia marinated in Italian dressing,
then dipped in a combination of bread crumbs
and parmesan cheese and a peanut and
pecan mixture. Side of mac n cheese.
There will be plenty of leftovers for
lunches and another supper.
For dessert mixed a can of mandarin oranges
with jello and cool whip. Chillin in fridge.

FRUGAL LIVING IN COLUMBUS,OHIO Frugal living is a lifestyle that involves careful planning and spending as well as avoiding waste. It's not about being cheap; it's really about being practical and making the most of available resources through various methods of saving money, reusing existing items instead of buying new ones, and finding bargains and good deals. The premise is that a person shouldn't pay more for something if he or she doesn't have to.

About Me
- Fast81TA
- My name is Sherry, 39yrs old, from Columbus, Ohio. I am married, a SAHM, and have 3 children ages 9, 10 and 20. I have been frugal/thrifty all my life. I would like to share on this blog how we get by day to day on one income with a family of 5 with a dog and a cat. You will also hear about my everyday gripes about daily life and the cost of living. Hubby says my favorite saying is, "and that is another thing that pisses me off!"
