These are the things I got made up by 10AM

Freezing everything I can so it will stay

cooler of pop.
Kroger has Pepsi 24 packs on sale for $3.99.
Or 24 packs of Big K for $3.99.

Ya know what, since I am ahead somewhat
with getting everything ready, I think
I'll take me, the boys and grandma out
to a few yard sales to get out of the
house for a few.
Then come home and finish the last two
items (cookies and mac & cheese).
Then start laundry and packing clothes
later on this afternoon.
Tonight me and Tony will probably
start cutting up the scrap metal
to take over to the recycling place
Saturday morning.
So ta ta for now. Need the kids to
burn off some energy so I can
get things done later on.
1:30PM
Just back from yard sales.
I bought me 5 rings @ a buck a piece.
I know these are from Khol's as I
have one identical to the one I purchased
at this yard sale. They look brand new
with no scratches.
Ring #1
Goes for $12 new.
Ring #2
Goes for $28.00 new.
Ring #3
Goes for $22.00 new.
Couldn't find the other 2 on Khol's website.
At a church sale I found a rolling bag that
I will use on vacation for clothes and
toiletries. Paid $1.50.
This will help with my back that's for sure.

Looks like thunderstorms are starting to
form in central Ohio. Looking North
and it's dark up that way.
Praying for some nice weather during vacation.
Supposed to be high 70's and no rain
all 3 days. We'll see as the weather man
has been wrong.

4-5:00PM
I bought a swim suit and it was too big
on me. So I spent the last hour taking
it in on the sides and back. I took off
a total of 8 inches! I think it was a
size 18 and I needed a size 10 to 12.
I really liked the suit and hated to piss it
away so tried my hand at altering it.
It didn't turn out too bad. At least
now it's not hanging off me in places, lol.
It's a 2 piece suit. The bottom looks like
a skirt.

6:15PM
I'm gonna be sooo ready for bed tonight!
Just finished supper...
chicken, rice, stuffing, corn.
Starting to cut up scrap metal.
Me and Tony like to play a guessing game
as to how much the metal is worth before
taking it in. We both guessed $80 so
will see tomorrow morning.
We scrap brass, aluminum and copper.
Still need to mow grass
and go to Kroger to get some pop.
9:50PM

FRUGAL LIVING IN COLUMBUS,OHIO Frugal living is a lifestyle that involves careful planning and spending as well as avoiding waste. It's not about being cheap; it's really about being practical and making the most of available resources through various methods of saving money, reusing existing items instead of buying new ones, and finding bargains and good deals. The premise is that a person shouldn't pay more for something if he or she doesn't have to.

About Me
- Fast81TA
- My name is Sherry, 39yrs old, from Columbus, Ohio. I am married, a SAHM, and have 3 children ages 9, 10 and 20. I have been frugal/thrifty all my life. I would like to share on this blog how we get by day to day on one income with a family of 5 with a dog and a cat. You will also hear about my everyday gripes about daily life and the cost of living. Hubby says my favorite saying is, "and that is another thing that pisses me off!"
