OK, just got done writing up a recipe
for the boxed desert contest.
The only problem I have is that I have no
spring form pan, so yes Kendra can I borrow yours please?
Wasn't easy. I kept thinking about
all these different flavors that when combined
should taste really good together.
Sorry I can't share the recipe just yet
til I make and submit it :0)

Here's another deal from Hip2Save.
My closest Toys R Us is Sawmill Rd.
Anyone know of a store that is closer?

Yippee! Toys R Us has a hot new deal available through October 16th. Trade in ANY used board game and receive 30% off the price of one Hasbro Board Game. Here’s the best part… you can trade in as many board games as you want! Keep in mind that you only receive one discount coupon per game traded in and the discount is only valid on the day of trade-in. So clean out those closets, gather up those old games, and head to Toys R Us (if you’re in need of old games for trade-in, hit the thrift store).

Wanna make this deal even sweeter?!
Purchase $15 or more of any Hasbro game(s) and get a $5 Dunkin Donuts gift card! You know how I love my coffee, so of course I’m excited about this promo!

Deal Scenario:
Buy 2 of the following games: Monopoly, Sorry or Clue on sale for $7.99 each
Total = $15.98
Trade in 2 board games to give you 30% off each game
Total now = $5.59 per game which = $11.18 for both will now cost $5.59
Use 2 $4/1 coupons from the USA Weekend Magazine (not sure what issue?)
Pay $3.18
Get a $5 Dunkin Donuts gift card*
Final Cost FREE + $1.72 moneymaker (when you take into account the gift card!)

*Keep in mind that I am assuming that you will receive the Dunkin Donuts gift card with any $15 game purchase before the 30% off discount and/or coupons. However, I have not actually done the deal scenario, so I cannot confirm this.

I've been craving Mexican food.
Thank you Food channel and Guy Fieri with
the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives show
that keeps me
up late most nights. Then I find myself wandering into
the kitchen for a midnight snack and a rag because
my mouth is drooling.
All I can say is I want his job!!
So maybe here in the near future I'll be making something
Mexican.
So here are a few recipes for some
flat breads.

Taco Bell Chalupa bread Indian fry bread

2 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
1 cup milk
oil (for deep frying)
To make Indian Fry Bread Mix dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening; then add milk.
Shape dough into a long cylinder; cut into 8 equal parts.
Flour hands, then work the pieces into 6″ tortillas.
Fry in oil until golden brown..

FLATBREAD (Like Taco Bell Gorditas)

This recipe looked really good til they
started adding anchovies, yuck!
But I will still use it as a guide.

Both these recipes could be used in a bread machine.
Use the dough or pizza dough cycle like mine has.

Chicken Ranch Gordita from Taco Bell

. Gordita Baja – Beef.
8:45PM

Ok this is weird, I just picked up 4 Taste Of Home
magazines and started looking through them
and found a quick and easy flatbread recipe
for tacos.
You need a can of Grands biscuits
Roll each biscuit out into a 6 inch circle.
In a small skillet, over medium heat, cook each
flattened biscuit for 30-60 seconds on each side.
HERE it is on TOH.
