7:45AM

I signed up recently for
another survey site to make
a couple extra bucks.
I joined Aug. 10th and am already
up to almost $6.00 for doing
just surveys. They are pretty
much multiple choice questions/answers.
If you did not receive an invite
from me and would like one just email
me and let me know.

I don't recommend just any survey site
and do reviews of them first before
signing up. If there are some surveys
that I feel get too personal I just
don't do them. Sometimes they want kids
opinions of new products or shows so if
you have kids that could be a plus.

-----------------------

Here in a few I'll be going out
to unload the truck of the things
we found last night.

Here is the exact surround we found.
Colby DVD915
value of $114.

Of course there was no remote,
paper work or cables with it.
It did turn on but the dvd door
would not open. Tony took it apart
and found a movie inside called
Just Married, see trailer below.

8:45AM

Here are the things we got
last night. Doesn't seem like
much when compared to what we've
gotten in the past. Reason
being is I am only taking
what is needed around here or
being requested by others.

More food.

Cleaning supplies and FULL
HUGE bottles of shampoo &
conditioner.

Beer. Someone left these sitting
beside the dumpster. They don't
expire til Sept/Oct 10.

New socks and a buckeye
colored hat.

Mainstay dishes. Not sure
what I am doing with these yet.
I might keep them. They are very
heavy compared to other dishes.

Kendra-
Looks like new dishes.
Some were broke so I
threw those away.
Good for Tommy or whoever.

Cute little fabric shelf.
I love little shelves because
they fit in the smallest places.

Microwave.
Might give this one a try and
get rid of our white one.

Area rug. Been wanting one
for the dining room.

Another air mattress.
I threw the other one out.
I discovered a hole in it.

For Kendra-
Twin sized top and bottom sheet
by Mainstays.

I thought this was a full sized
comforter but it turns out it
is a Queen so I'll be keeping it.

For Kendra-
It appears to be a comforter
with a matching sham.

Just saw on Meijer's Facebook page-

Huge news for you Back-to-School
shoppers out there: we've just
reduced 70 ct. themebooks to $0.10
and filler paper to $0.50!

That's the cheapest I've seen
them so far this year!

10:30AM

Decided to clean out my cupboard
with all my dishes and cups
in it and get it better organized.

Now going on the hunt for my
mini muffin pan to start making
muffins. Don't ya hate it
when you can't find something?!

Last night at Kroger I got
chocolate and blueberry muffin
mixes.

I think I will add a little
lemon juice and orange zest
to the blueberry muffin mix.

And for the chocolate ones I
will add chocolate chips to them.

Here's a tip of mine for the day...

Save the tops off your empty dish
soap bottles and wash really good.
Most will fit on the top of
an empty 20 ounce pop bottle.
Makes for a free and recycled travel bottle
for the kids. Conveniently closes
when not in use and to prevent spills.
Fill with your kids favorite non
carbonated drink and put in freezer
overnight. Pack in their lunch the
next day. Should be melted and nice
and cold when lunch time rolls around.
No need for an ice pack in their lunch
when you use frozen juice bottles.

--------------------

Do you have one of those foaming
soap containers? Save those
and reuse it to put your own
liquid soap in!
If not then check the Dollar Stores
for a dispenser to reuse.
You can stretch your soap sooo much
further by using this technique.
Use it for hand soap, dish soap,
body wash, shampoo.

Remove the cap from the foaming hand wash bottle.

Squirt the liquid dish soap into the dispensing bottle.
Use about 2-3 tablespoons of soap for every 16 ounces of water.

Fill the dispensing bottle with water.

Place the cap on the dispensing bottle.

Gently swirl the bottle to mix the dish soap and water. It is ready for use!

Dial costs about $3.00 or so for one refill
that might last a month.
You could buy a couple bottles of regular
soap for that much that would last
you for a year or more by making your own!!

1:00PM

Well I just got 32 blueberry
mini muffins made.

Now I am awaiting for Kendra
& Dewaine to get here . Supposed
to finish up work on the back fence.

Still deciding how to
do the gate over the driveway.

Just checked mail.
Got a coupon for $1.00 off
Dr. Pepper 2 liters
and a FREE coupon for Cheerios
up to $3.80!

Fed Ex also stopped by with a
package. I can't tell you what it
is because it is part of a survey
I am doing. It was 2 free boxes
of food, cannot tell brand names
or type, sorry. Usually they test
out different products on people
before deciding whether or not
to put on the market. So many
times I see tv shows, movies
and products that no one else
has seen. I
am in a binding agreement that I
cannot discuss what they are and
if I do they could actually sue me.
So keeping hush hush about it.
But it's just the thought about all
these freebies I get to try out,
full sized items, not samples!

Talking about surveys,
I just did another survey
for $3.00, WOO HOO, I'm on a roll today.

1:30-4:00PM

Dewaine came over and got the rest
of the fence up. He worked his
butt off out in this heat!

4:30- 6:30PM

I, myself, redid some of the fence
to look even and go with the flow
of things. I didn't want to work
Dewaine to death having him
fill in all the gaps at the bottom.
Along with his ribs being sore.
Can you imagine him crawling around
on the ground? That wouldn't be good
for his sore ribs.
I feel sorry for him as it is
working out in this heat.
I took off all the boards
to the one panel and stair stepped
it to look a little more even.
I got a blister and a smashed
pointer finger but I did it, lol.
Man I got sweat in every crack and
crevice being 90 something out, WHEW!

We've decided to wait til next Spring
to work on the parking areas in the
yard. Need to save up for Christmas.
